Well as to date, my printer which is shared over the network never prints, stops sending the file half way. its connected to a wireless router and my computer is connected to that router via ethernet.

I boot up my comp, and it takes forever to load, i dont know what it is. And if i try to open a folder, any folder whether my computer, my documents, desktop folder or anything it doesnt opn till literally 3 minutes later. i disabled the automatically search for printer and fax thingy in the folder options. And sometimes it wont even load, and i get a windows explorer error and and then my whoel comp freezes

My internet explorer doesnt open at all so i cant even get online virus scans to see what virus i have. Ive tried registry fixers, adaware and spy bot. didnt do much. I have tried CWS shredders hasnt done anything.

I keep getting ms dos popups encountering illegal instructions and i have to close or terminate it.

    i am using winxp sp1

Edit: Sorry unrequested Hijackthis inline log removed

Head over to the spyware forum and do the "read me first stuff ( http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 ) before posting. Don't post a hijackthis log there until they request it. I think you have spyware issues and the guys on the spyware forum are superb at fixing this kind of stuff.

  4. Well i know he is in spyware now but a good place to start would be to get service pack 2! It fixes alot of security holes as well as system problems.

Please follow Ragnarok's advice and complete the following

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

I have moved your thread into the correct part of the forum so it gets the full attention of the guys who will be able to clear this up :)
