Depending on one’s situation, people belong to different "clubs". Here we have suitable acronyms for them, which are fun when breaking down their meanings – Think you would “belong” to any of these "clubs"?:

• SINBAD - Single Income No Boyfriend Absolutely Desperate
  
  
• SWINGAR – Single With Income No Girlfriend, Absolutely Ready
  
  
• SINKs - Single Independent No Kids – persons divorced join this club
  
  
• OINKs - One Income No Kids – Only one partner working
  
  
• DINKs - Double Income No Kids - Can be married or de facto couples, both bringing a pay cheque home.
  
  
• DINKWADs – Double Income No Kids With A Dog.
  
  
• SITCOM - Single Income Two Kids Outrageous Mortgage
  
  
• SKIN - Spend Kids Inheritance Now – Popular club for retiring couples who now sell up and hit the road or water for a permanent holiday, spending what monies from house/assets that would otherwise be left to their kids (good on them I say!).

We are DINKWADs but my daughter is a SINBAD

 

Being a SINK I have a lot of DINKs, DINKWADs and SITCOMs who keep trying to line me up with SWINGARs

 

Need to add at least 1 more legalsuit -

DITT - Dual Income with Two Twentysomethings @ home.

Guess that's why I can't afford to go to clubs.:cry
