Any Video Converter

What do I delete in the free version of Any Video Converter's files to keep it from hi-jacking my browsers home page and search engine?

 

Was there a add option to change the Homepage and search engine when you downloaded it that you never unchecked ??

Yes, I unchecked it...
So was surprised after the third time I used the program and then opened my browser, the browser shut down a few seconds and when it popped back up it was jacked :tas

I downloaded it 2 days ago and just unchecked the boxes that let them change your preferences.

Use Revo uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Reinstall and BE CAREFUL to uncheck the appropriate boxes when reinstalling.

If it happens again (don't know why it should), go to tools on browser and reset the home page and search engine)

Down loaded Revo, it's interface showed the two offending culprits so I tried the "hide from browser's" option
Hopefully that resolves the prob, if not will uninstall/reinstall program just to be -positive- I unchecked the "evil critters" button

BTW: I was sure I unchecked that box.. First time it happened wasn't until after I used the program I a few times, so keep an eye on yours..

 

I've never used this converter...How about handbrake or Format factory?

 

I use Anyvideo Converter and Mc-tv http://mctvconverter.vivolum.net/

to convert WMC recordings.
