Anybody got any views on.....

Anti spam software/freeware? I'm using the rather nice Mailwasher program at the moment but increasingly I'm finding that a lot of the spam won't bounce, so I was looking for something where I can blacklist emails so that they will not download from the server.

 

I think that perhaps you're not blocking domains enough. Now don't go blocking Yahoo or some other familiar service.

These people use throwaway e-mail addresses, ( especially pron), so blocking the domain is the way to go and as there are better programs to stop this crap, the spammers are also evolving.

Example of a domain to block for me is ojklgge.com (save gas). There are other programs you could try on the front page under Internet tools,

Nightweed, you are only allowed 3 minutes to edit a post. After that you have to do a new post. Bit of a drag, but one of the rules in using MG. We all get caught occasionally by this restraint. Bazza
