    Hey all,
If you use this I want to know if it burns mp4 vids to DVD. They won't answer my emails. I got 7 good discs out of Winx before ti pooped out, & DVD flick nada. So now I'm looking for something else.
we got rid of Netflix & tubi & I'm tired of all teh ads on YT so I want to put all my stuff to disc.
There is no "burn mp4" button on AnyBurn screen shots that I saw, so maybe they call it something else?
    Thank you.

have you ruled out a hardware issue?
I've had DVD rom's/burners that still read and played back disc normally as the burning feature no longer functioned.

It would help if you had mentioned that AND posted the ImgBurn error you see.

    What exactly happened?
    What error?

To burn MP4 files to a DVD you just create a data disc.

CDs and DVDs use different lasers. A drive might be able to burn CDs because the laser is good but not DVDs because that laser is bad.

OK. But since we've purchased this computer, I've only burned the 9 dvd movies in teh past week. Everything else over the years has only been music CD's. So how can it be worn out??

I bought a new computer and after a day I could not power it up so I returned it. Things break.

Yeah if I had been in control of the money I would have returned this pos the first day. No money to replace, & I know if i unplug the external drive to put in a new DVD burner that the computer won't recognize the external drive anymore. So if that's what the problem is then I'm just screwed for a while. Never getting an HP again, that's for sure.
