Anyone Available To Help Set-up A New Laptop?

Hello, I decided to give Windows another try after several years of making use of Chromebooks (found Windows increasing complicated and just a lot more difficult as I aged) - so now I'm back with a very inexpensive 'no-name' 10.1" inch laptop, but it's the same old thing all over again for me now... can't even seem to get all the SECURITY (by far the most important thing to me) set-up (but I do very much being able to add and manage programs such as SpywareBlaster).

Would there happen to be anyone available here to help me with this (or possibly refer me to a site that does help with this sort of situation), please?

It would/will help others help you for you to provide full specs and make/model info on the computer you are going to be attempting to install Windows on and what version of it you were wanting to try/use.

That said, I personally WON'T go/use or deal with anything past Win 7 (my preference of the 7s is Win 7 Pro) due to security and privacy reasons among other things including AI crap and M$ spyware. You may also want to check out Linux Mint LMDE 7, Zorin and Tails.

 

May also want to check out https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil to help debloat Windows as another option IF going Win 10/11.
