I have a question or two or twelve about converting some .avi files w/ SUPER. I won't get into specifics now, but if anyone out there is familiar w/ SUPER and converting .avi's to .vob's/DVD compliant files, I'd LOVE to hear from you! Thanx!

Cool- here's my question: I have some .avi files I want to convert to DVD format for home DVD players. In SUPER, there's Output Container which I'm assuming I'll set to .vob-DVD Compliant (box 1). Box 2 is Output Codec and I'm given two choices: MPEG-I and MPEG-II. Which do I choose? And Box 3 is Output Audio Codec which defaults to AC3; the other choice is mp2. Do I leave this at AC3? After converting is complete, I'm assuming I'll have a .vob file. Using Nero7 Essentials (came bundled w/ my DVDRW), how do I burn the .vob? Do I need a .bup and/or a .ifo? Thanx guys! Any help is appreciated!
I looked thru the SUPER forums at erightsoft.com but didn't find any clear answers. The key word here is 'CLEAR' ;)

If you want a finished DVD, Super isn't really the way to go. If your Nero bundle came with Nerovision, I would use that. It will take you from adding video files, chapters, menus to a finished disc.
If not, use Avi2DVD, which will output an iso file which Nero will be able to burn to a DVD. If you invest some time in it, you can even create a navigable menu.
