Anyone familiar with foreign movies?

I caught the middle of a movie and it was really interesting so I started watching it. Now, I want to see the beginning. I tried catch the credits at the but I couldn't read them. I searched all over google trying to find this movie but without knowing the year or which part of the region it came from it's a little harder. Hoping someone out there is a movie buff because I really want to see the beginning of this movie! It was an Asian film (possibly Japanese, or Korean but not sure). Here's the plot (or what I gathered from it, it got a little confusing at times).

A police detective who has very young autistic son who never speaks except the occasional grunting but loved to draw, and would draw all over everything. This made the father angry and hate his son because he wouldn't do anything but draw and also the father had visions of his son one day joining him in the police force, which is obviously not going to happen now. The father and his team were on the hunt to find a mentally ill man that living in a fairy tale and was killing people he called "dragons" because he wanted to be the prince of another mentally challenged young girl (they grew up in an orphanage together) who was obsessed with painting. She kept painting him as the "devil", so he killed all these people to prove to her that he was brave and worthy to be her prince and not a devil.

The mentally ill man kidnapped the detective's wife and son and made him "save" them so that he could be the he hero to his family.

Thanks but I'm really not into serial killer movies. If I had known what this movie was about beforehand, I probably wouldn't have started watching it. I like suspense & action but get disturbed by the killing scenes. It's why I usually stick to comedy or children's movies :-D

 

Oh I forgot. I watched one other foreign film.

I used just about every other word BUT fairy tale, I didn't think it was that important. :-D

Based on the picture that popped up I questioned if it was a real movie or not at first. It looks like a really bad photoshop. :-D

I used to watch horror movies all the time as a kid but now they just really creep me out.

 

I used to have a horror movie fetish. That one cured it.
