Anyone got the manual for GeForce 6800 GS?

    Hi all,

I got a second-hand Nvidia Geforce 6800 GS graphics card a few months ago and there was no manual. I asked the seller and he put me right with connection. The connection seemed to go fine just by assuming where everything went. Now I get a message saying that there are power issues because the additional power lead might not be fitted (or some other connections are not in place).

Does anyone know where I can get a manual? I tried checking out the NVidia website and there's about drivers and updating them but nothing on the actual manuals for the product.

Please help. This problem could affect an already cranky system. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

we really need the manufacturers name (ie ASUS etc) to give more detailed information on that card

but have you looked closely at the card, there should be a four pin molex connection which you need to hook up to a spare connector from your power supply

    Thanks Petaluma,

You must have edited your post ;) . I'm on the correct page now (I think) but I can't make any sense of the information. This is the page I'm on: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/winxp_181.20_whql_uk.html which should lead me to something manual-related. However, there's loads of stuff to do with drivers but nothing like a simple basic manual that tells you what to look for when you're connecting things up and makes sense of all the technical jargon.

I tried the 'User Guides' tab but the release notes (for what I presume is an updated driver) didn't seem to apply and the Control Panel information mentions nothing about setup but appears to give you an Idiot's Guide to basic Windows instead.

Basically, I don't know what leads are not connected and have no real way of identifying what is what and which goes where. Any ideas?
