Anyone here do business with godaddy.com?

I'm very interested in purchasing a domian name. and godaddy has a great offer for $8 for a year. Anyone ever purchase a domain name from them?

 

I used to use godaddy a few years ago but ended up using powerpipe.com exclusively

 

I use GoDaddy for all my hosting and Domain Names. Never any problems. They have good communication and DON'T automatically renew you without first asking...like some hosting companies.

Their hosting is good too. I think their basic plan is three something a month.

I like them.

i'v thought about them...my friend told me about them because he always uses them and he like um

 

Two questions.

1. With godaddy, you can register different plans for how many years you would like. If I sign up for 5 years, I can get it for $7.25 a month, is this a good idea or should I just go by the year?

2. I can use my free hosting site with this right? I want to make sure I can actually use my host-dot.com website with this domain name.
