Anyone here have an Epson scanner.

Hi all,

I've got an Epson Perfection 1240U scanner and have been trying to find the smartpanel utility. I've searched the Epson site but it's not available to download.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy, or has a setup CD from a scanner or all-in-one printer and can get the utility off and send it to me, I will be eternally grateful.

That looks like it's just an update for the smart panel program. I'll try it when I get home in a couple of hours.

That copy utility works, but it's not the smart panel utility.

Basically, there are three buttons on the front of the scanner, but I can't change what they do. The only option given when I press one is to launch MS Publisher. With the smartpanel, I can set them to open whatever program I like, e.g, the copy utility.

Any other ideas?
