anyone know about I TUNE

havent used forums before, need help with itunes, it keeps saying when I click on itunes to open

"the registry settings used by the i tunes drivers for importing and burning cd and dvds are missing this can happen as a result of installing other cd burning software please reinstall itunes"

I dont want to lose my music

 

To start, it is iTunes. Second what operating system are you using, what version of iTunes? As for losing your music, it would be in your iTunes folder in My Music folder. If it was music downloaded through iTunes as a purchase, you would still be able to download again off of the iTunes store.

Majority of the info you need can be found in the support forums for Apple, along with there is one forum out there that deals with nothing but iTunes.

Really need the exact error you are getting, what Operating System you have, and what version of iTunes.

 

i believe it is version 11.0.5.5 and I have vista

Have you tried uninstalling iTunes, do a sfc /scannow in a Command Window as administrator yet?

There is some more info out there. Personally if you can afford it, I would be moving up to Windows 7 and ditch Vista, since it is reaching its EOL (End of Life), and had a few issues besides this one, that just give people headaches. Vista was not bad when it was meant to be a transition OS from XP to 7, but it really has met its life expectancy at this point.
