Anyone know anything about Optical Character Recognition software?

    Hi I need to get some OCR software for work (so price is no object) that is capable of scanning PDF and image files and dumping them into Excel. Any ideas or recommendations.

    The purpose is to dump report with tables into excel for digital manipulation.

    Your scanner didn't come with software to do that? Every scanner I've used has this function in the bundled application suite. I would try looking on the CDs that came with the machine.
