Anyone know TV's?

Ok first i picked this tv up out the trash and filled my truck bed up with it lol (Its that big). its a RCA Model number P52720LV, Serial number 720292590, Chassis number PTK169PKB (Need anything else?) Ok well lets see first my friend told me he helped someone throw it out because they were moving and could not take it and the only thing wrong with it at the time was it turning blue well it seems it was left beside the road for about a week before i heard about it so it was even in the rain. well i love these TV's and i want to fix it. but when i got it home i plugged it in and it would not do anything so i took off the front panel pulled the button board off and started messing with it and well i can't get it to do anything all it wants to do is when i push the power button it flashes its green ON light and click out the right speaker (Facing the front). one thing i have noticed is if i wait after i plug it in then push the power the light will flash bright and then if i push it again right after the light will be dim or not at all. Oh yea can i use clear plexiglass for the front? the old front on it was cracked.
