Anyone Like This Band?

I have a free 3 month subscription to XM Radio with my new car, so I got turned onto a new band (for me) on Squizz :

Breaking Benjamin


I'm REALLY liking them.

What kind of music do they play?

I'm not up-to-date with all the lastest bands cause' 99% of them suck nowadays! I haven't listened to the radio in ages.

I hope they aren't one of those boring Creed or Nickel Back sounding bands, or one of those crappy Mall-Punk bands like Good Charlette.

Music today is lame. This band you speak of better be damned good!

 

Must say they ain't too shabby. Kinda like most music out today, but a little refreshing at the same time. Give me Stevie Ray anytime.

I am very happy with it.

No commercials or advertisements and bands that I have never heard from before as well. There are some occasional 30 second goofy skits on Squizz, but thats all I've heard.

They have a good mix. The only stations I listen to at the moment are Squizz and Ethel, heavy alternative and alternative, respectively.

Best of all? Static free and I always know who I am listening to due to it saying on the display

My wife loves the contemporary hits and love songs channels.

Now...is it worth the price of the equipment?

Tough to say. It came with my car.

It is definately worth the price of the service per month though.

You can actually try a 7 day free trial online through their website.

That would be a great way to see if you like it.

I agree with Steve. Perhaps a more thorough review is in order?
Would you put XM in your home as well? Other options (sports, talk, jazz etc...)?
