Anything Wrong with System Restore?

Just wondering here. I had that stupid antispyware gold thing going on. But with the holidays it was taking too long for anyone to answer my question. (attaching log) so I just did a system restore for a couple of days before the thing bit me. Puter is running fine and now I am following all directions to make sure it doesn't happen again. Is there anything wrong with that?? Just curious if what I did was fine or if that stupid thing is lurking around in my computer to bite me again? Thanks!
