AOC U2868PQU Input Lag?

I recently purchased a AOC U2868PQU 28" 4K monitor. I had read reviews that stated the input lag was really minimal and was hardly noticeable (either I am doing something wrong or review bullshit).

Is there anything I can try to reduce the lag? It is only apparent when I use the displayport (regardless of resolution). DVI, HDMI and VGA all have zero input lag, although they max out at 1080p.

I have seen reviews and videos of this panel in use and it looks like there is zero lag (or at least no way as bad as what I am experiencing).

Am I an idiot for buying this?

 

Is your GFX card/chip up to performing well at that resolution?

 

Happens on my laptop (Intel HD 3000) and my PC (GTX 780 TI SLI). It doesnt feel like the card is struggling. It happens on the desktop just moving the mouse around. Sluggish and slow.

 

hello you solved with the input lag? I also took this monitor, as soon as It arrive I'll try disabling everything else and only activating the game mode!
