Have used the standard free version for the last few months whilst moving 3 Laptop/PCs to Windows 10.
Now have a problem with one machine giving a 'code 4102 Failed to read file' error when checking the integrity of the download.
Tried to access the Aomei forum for support but can't get in to post....it seems others also have the same problem.
Tried the FAQs on the website and also uninstalled/installed the programme and tried different external HDDs.
Finally emailed Aomei but no response yet.
Any ideas Please to access Aomei or to resolve my problem?

    I am quite sure I did...6 March 2016
It was prior to upgrading to Windows 10 a few months ago....I upgrade the machines over a period of time to make sure each was OK in turn.
Have used the programme at least 10 times over the period. (before W10, after W10 and a later image on all 3 machines)
The Uninstall/reinstall a couple of days ago was from the Aomei site directly.

PS there is a FAQ about this error on the Aomei site which I have already followed.

I launched Partition Assistant and clicked the about tab. Went to the website and clicked on support/forums and it directly let me create an account. Then I launched Backupper and followed the same process except it was already logged into. Haven't tried to post anything ,yet. Did you get an account created?

Yes, I have just had an answer to my email to Aomei support and the 'Click the link to register my email address' finally worked....it hadn't worked for the past few days!
It has suggested I try the FAQ again!

Can this thread please be frozen and I will pursue it on the Aomie forum...I will, of course, return with any results.

Aomie support, via email and the Aomei forum, suggest that there is no inherent problem.
It is accepted that the actual error is in the 'checking system' and not in the saved image.

It's also suggested that the images can be checked manually.
I am not able to open Adi files without downloading a paid for third party programme for the task.

My life doesn't depend on it so I will accept the Aomei comment that the image is OK.

I do have images on two different external HDDs.

When I first started using AOMEI Backupper, I used to verify the images. I never had a corrupt image so, I stopped verifying. That's why I haven't run into the problem you've had. Hopefully, AOMEI will correct the issue in the next release.
