APM Handler?

WinXP, Service pack 2, 768 RAM

I was burning a DVD using Nero, and have done so many times. It kinda froze and then I notice a screen that said "APM Handler" on my desktop.

Since the screen was frozen I coouldn't click on it to see if it said anything else but it looked like thet screen was empty except for "APM Handler".

I googled this but found no useful info. Can someone tell me what this is?

None of my virus detectors went off and Sygate reports nothing.

It'e either "Advanced Power Management" or "Applications Policy Manger." Either way this is an issue for the software forum. If you post there you'll get excellent help, in a timely manner.
