App for editing music files?

I need to edit some music files (.WMA, .MP3, etc.) for size, length
Have lost my old app that did this and forgotten the name.
What's your favourite?

hey mate ,

have tried a few different peogrammes , none of which are easy to utilise at the start of the ones i tried (mp3direct cut , audacity , wavepad ) the one i found most effective was wavepad , its not on mg site so i wont give you a direct link but its availble on the nch website ,

all of which are freeware
