Apparently a BIG mistake !

Well the other day i downloaded Google Stumble. I have not had a virus or maleware problems for a long time. After "Stumbeling" for a day or two my puter was screwwing up big time today. it has taken all day to run different virus and spy ware scans to get rid of the S--T! that got me, ever heard of the stumble bum? I could not belive it! A word to the wise PLEASE BE CAREFUL! :cry confused

What is it, what does it do, and how exactly did you get it? What did you expect "google stumble" to do originally. I am just curious.

 

Is FireFox StumbleUpon the same thing? I use it occasionally.

I did see alot of interesting sites but i also got two viruses and a ton of spyware.

 

sounds like a handy tool - but also open to exploitation

I find wall to wall gadget bars crowd out the space for desired content, not to mention the agony that poorly tested add-ons create.
Why does GoogleEarth require a 13M download to show sat pics when maporama and others can do it straight off with not extras?

Apparently this is true at least in the Google version. I have used this tool in Mozilla with no ill effects. "Once bitten twice shy" as they say. I have deleted them both and will take no more chances.
