Have we a trouble maker amongst us? I noticed that "bertyjones" hasn't been here long and has already had 2 closed threads that were edited by the admin!!!

 

Troublemakers are dealt with quickly. Nothing to worry about.

lol you've served well over time kodo! i remember when i first joined here last year, adynalyne and halo were the people who helped me most, great people!

 

Admit it mcadam88 -- "bertyjones" is really YOU -- you were just trying to stir up trouble!

Since no one pointed out (or seemed to care) about this bertyjones you had to toot your own horn (as they say).

And then you had the audacity to give Adryn credit for dealing with troublemakers when we all know it takes a troublemaker to deal with a troublemaker (that's why they pay KODO all the big bucks).

lol i swear on my life, my membership at MG!!!!! that it's not me. Surely the admin's can trace the IPs of users and see that mine is different to his!
I just stated it because I saw 2 posts by him (or her) that were edited. Also, these posts were done today, I was at school today like the good boy I am so couldn't have done them. Also, before you think I may have done it at school if it was me then think again for our school has no internet at the moment. Hehe, the freezing temperatures have frozen the internet connection from our cable supplier and the cables have split, so engineers were in today having no clue what to do! So anyway, yeh bertyjones or whoever is NOT me!!!!

 

Uhmmm...Pegg...where is this coming from? Even with the smilies this is out of line....you have attacked a member here and accused them of being someone else, which they are not. In future, please report a post or notify a moderator via PM if you are suspicious of something...posts like this are not acceptable.

If you do something outside the sites guidelines, that's something for the admins. to deal with or the mods. to moderate. lol.. I don't know why people do that.. they think there are 52 states.. just something about 52 brings closure in some way shape or form. Who knows..

 

Maybe the other two are Puerto Rico and Iraq

 

Puerto Rico and Guam. Both are "protectorates", both receive many of the benefits of statehood, but neither one pays taxes or gets a vote in Congress. Puerto Rico has been considering statehood for years, but they've already got most of the benefits with none of the obligations.

When I was born, there were only 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii both joined in 1959, IIRC.

Since you guys have gone to where no geek has gone before, on thie same topic let me ask you something that has been bugging me:
Why is it Virginia and West Virginia instead of East - West Virginia? What happened to East Virginia?

 

Or Rhode Island, for that matter- I thought an island was completely surrounded by water...(not to mention "District of Columbia"- is Washington part of South America?)

I never even possibly ever in any way thought anyone would take it differently (thanks Kodo for standing up for me) I know there's hundreds of people here, guess I thought people would remember me and know I'm nice, not mean spirited...but that's okay. I'll be more careful in the future and I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

I used to joke around before and some people didn't "get it" so others suggested "smilies" so I used them, but....

I was born in the state of confusion. Haven't left that state yet.

Does that qualify as the 51st state? Probably the 49th considering the time frame.

 

Hmm, 50 states, huh? Makes me feel so inadequate, living a nation of only seven (I have trouble, even remembering them, LoL!). Time to get out the big chain saw and make a few more. (Still a federation, though <cough!, cough>)

Mind you, Western Australia is something like 20X the size of Texas. Guess we can afford to cut it up some.
