I'm having difficulty removing some Apple Software myself. I (unfortunately & regrettably) simply wished to view a video within an archived newspaper article, and was informed that I needed some Apple software, and ended-up with iTunes & Quicktime, in addition to the Mobile Device stuff you're speaking of. I also ended-up with an Apple Software Update program. I am able to uninstall iTunes & Quicktime well enough - but the other two programs refuse to budge.

I'm afraid in my case if may be a Windows (Vista) Service that I switched (Configured) to either "Disabled" or "Manual" - and am now not exactly sure how to find or identify that Service, to see if configuring it again back to "Automatic" might get rid of the remaining Apple crap.

    Anyone know?
