Think you've seen every creepy thing someone can do remotely to f:*** with your cell phone? Think again. Apple has patented a technology that will allow governments, businesses and other groups to disable the camera or entire cell phone without your consent.

The list of what this could unleash is almost endless, from a government being able to turn off the camera on your phone during civil unrest (even if you're not attempting to upload the photos) to hackers having a field day.

I guarantee you this is one patent Samsung (nor any other manufacturer) will NOT try to copy. If Apple ever installs this "feature", I suspect the iPhone will go the way of disco balls and 8 track tapes. As for "1984", this also will be the year Apple's net worth drops to versus 2012.

This is quite strange, I wouldn't have thought Apple would ever really implement this, unless they were forced to by a government. Its a good way to make your products unwanted.

Your Government may already be watching you. If not Government, Google knows.
