AppRemover Ad-supported?

    They run an ad for their other program. While borderline, as a general rule we consider this ad-supported.

    It means 1 of 2 things...
    1. You'll see advertisements, for their other programs, when running the program while connected to the internet,
    2. One of their other programs are advertised, offered to download & install, during installation.

    Thank you Major Attitude and Eldon. As an aside, is there a term for software which includes links for social media? (FB, Twitter, etc.)

    Socialware seems appropriate.

    Wondering if there's monetization involved with including such links which would also perhaps be considered ad-supported? <g>

    With all due respect, people seem to want to be social but not social when they don't want to be. It doesn't work that way, you know? Now you have people crying about privacy issues. It's easy, don't use the net or at least don't use and connect social. Not YOU of course, but people in general. As always they want it all, they just don't want to pay for it :)
