Archos AV500 help

Hi!

I have a problem with my Archos AV500, in that when I try to transfer videos (3gp, avi, divx, flv, mpg & mpeg and mp4) from my pc to the device (using WMP 10), some require a conversion and fail, whilst others copy across (some with and without sound). I've searched the web for solutions on various video converters without much luck (namely Archos MPG4 Translator, AVS Video Tools and Xilisoft MP4 Converter). Could anyone give me advice on which converter I should use please?

It uses wmv (and protected wmv), wma (and protected wma), mpeg-4, mp3, wav. Most of the videos are in wmv format although some have sound some don't.

I've used some of them without success. Ojosoft, nidesoft and a few Imtoo converters as well. Will have a look at the majorgeeks link though.
