Are Brits welcome here ??

Hello all out there, hope Brits (English actually) are welcome to this site !

Major Geeks is often given referals by a U.K. site 'gadgetdetective.com' which
seems to offer good advice on more basic problems and help to us novices.

I like to scroll through the various threads here and often wish that I could understand what the problem is, let alone the answer !

It's thanks to helpful poeple like yourselves (and others) that we are able to
learn without having to pay (at least in the UK) for a ridiculous premium rate
call to a help centre.

Ha! This is great. I am in the middle of a reinstall of some lady's OS, so I didn't take time to read the other posts, but, I have to jump in.

So, to the land that gave us The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones (though I can't imagine why Jagger was knighted and not Richards, and the rest of the lads, as well, for that matter, though its not my business to know).

Yes, Britain gave us the best hardware diagnostic software (talking of course about the SiSoft Sandra).

I appreciate that they are about the only other country who will stand up with us when the stink hits the fan, too!

And, the country that maintains the true English language, oh, yes, here is to Britain, our wonderful neighboors!

Shame about the Rugby though - they used to be tops (but no longer).

For our American friends, Rugby is a bit like American football, only we don't wear armour plated kit and make up, and we don't have to stop for a rest every 10 seconds.

Must say however, you chaps are getting better at football (proper football that is).
