Are my new hard drives performing as expected.

Hi all,

This is my first post so please be easy on me.
I have had a quick search on the forums but couldn't find anything around this subject.

So...... I have just purchased 2x 64GB Crucial real SSD 6Gb/s to run in RAID0.

My question is what sort of performance should I be expecting from these two SSDs?

I have attached the results for my HDDs from "performance test".

Just realised I haven't put my motherboard on the thread.

I'm running an Asus Sabertooth X58.

The numbers look good to me. How do the drives feel to you?

 

They feel good, not as blisteringly fast as i expected but certainly a lot better than my old 7200rpm RAID0 array.

Was just wondering if those numbers were what I should expect from the controller on my sabertooth x58 mobo. And a slight side question are there faster raid controllers on the market?
