Are you addicted ?

Creating a single definition for computer addiction is difficult because the term actually covers a wide spectrum of addictions.

I find that i myself fall into a few of the category's how about you?

that first paragraph has got me dead on i think my wife has been talking to the researchers.

Obsessively checking e-mail. Playing online games for 12 hours or more at a time. Placing more value on chat-room friends than real friends. Neglecting family, work and even personal health and hygiene.http://www.getsmile.com/emoticons/funny-smileys-68129/computer2.gif

 

For me I mostly sit at the computer while doing my breathing treatments which is a result of my cigarette addiction :hammer

i don't cough very much but am paying the price with the breathing i smoked for more than 4O years(ouch is it really that long)

An addiction is something that negatively affects your life and the comp only has positive effects in my life it holds back a desease much worse than computer addiction called boredom,thats a condition where I have homicidal thoughts towards random people I sit here banging my hands on a chair repeatedly while letting out a whining sound and look around for something to burn,break and destroy just for amusement which negatively effects not just mine but other peoples lives also

My computer addiction gives me something to do while I'm up all night dealing with my Cocaine addiction.

I had these symptoms long before computers came along I have to keep my mind occupied with something even as a a kid taking electronic things apart and/or blowing them up was healthy fare for me,now with computers I can understand how things work and blow them up virtually
