Recently, my Zone Alarm has alerted me to a program called ARMO.EXE trying to access the internet. The program entry for it is : c/programfiles/vrpwmjm

It looked like spyware or malware to me. Ad-Aware doesn't find it or touch it. Doesn't show up unless you search for it. Doesn't list in add/remove programs. When I tried to remove it with Norton it said I didn't have the rights to remove it. (!)

It had an entry in my prefetch, but your excellent prefetch flusher got rid of that. I don't recognize this program, which managed to get past Norton Antivirus.

A Google on the name returns nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Allie

In addition to following the link provided by Tigerray, navigate to the problem file and RightClick it and check out properties and version tab and note what info, if any, is there.
