Arrrghhhh..Helix Server

Has anyone here had any experience trying to run a Helix streaming server? Im going through hell to try and get real producer to connect to it, broadcast a stream to it and then get it to play back. Im just getting "realmedia error" on the client side, im not sure if its getting there but in real producer i get "broadcasting" which suggests that its working. Ive gone through the help file setting up a "simple" broadcast, but doesnt seem that simple to me.

Is there a tutorial out there somewhere about how to set up a easy single stream live broadcast... all I want to do is stream a feed from a webcam, and let 3 or 4 people watch the stream live! it cant be that hard, can it!?
