ArtistScope Plug In 4.2 Help????

Hi guys!
I do a lot of work over the internet and one of the companies asked me to download ArtistScope 4.2 Plug In. For privacy issues I guess. I had done a quick search on google and found out that it did indeed have some issues. But after a couple of emails I thought It was ok. When I downloaded and ran it my IE locked up and my computer shut down. I went to add/remove programs and tried to remove it but it came back as Copy Safe? Anyway everytime I go near it, my computer locks up and shuts down. The files read this CopySafe Service 12.01.471.1025 and CopySafe Instru.DLL File:///cl/windows/system 32. Can you help me get rid of this plz????

I have a Matshita Dvd-ROM and a Hiatachi DK23FA-40 hardrive.
