I was pretty young in the 60's . . . only 9 years old when 1970 rolled around. I became a teen in the 70's, but oddly enough I remember less about those years then the 60's . . .

Funny thing is, it wasn't that much different here in the UK. (our cars were somewhat different though )

I think that the last line says it all.......The sixties was the last innocent decade... Shame.

Man that takes me back! Particularly when the bands hit Sydney, the Discos, the landing on the moon, Vietnam when our Aussie guys bewailed "Overpaid and Over here" about the American troops who hit our shores, Sydney certainly opened its heart to those on R&R regardless where they came from, and our anti-war movements. Beach parties after parties (no one drowned, but we had a heck of a laugh watching newbies who joined us at our night beach parties running on water whenever we shouted "Shark!" - still enjoy a night swim at the beach)

Sixties! What a decade of change....certainly was an era!
