Have installed the free trial version of this and it is good,
but after I have added my photos you can go to a preview screen and watch it, when I do this my computer turns off, [power's down] then it starts up again,
with the program and what I have done, not there, so have to start again,
any idea why this is happening??

Ok,,I always have reservations about Ashampoo products, I've used their Registry Cleaner (it's only ok) and WinOptimizer 6 (this I liked but nothing you can't do better with Ccleaner or Glary Utilities). Check Settings or the How to text that comes along with it.

Turn off reboot on error so you get a BSOD and can see a number and words. With that info, we might be able to figure out what is causing the reboot.

You can get bluescreenview from nirsoft.net too.
You might try upgrading your video drivers and make sure you have all the latest updates for the OS.

In some cases XP with Nvidia driversm downgrading the video driver helps.

Have come back to see if I can get any help, have bought the Ashampoo Slideshow Studio HD2, got on well with it, have put about 80 photos in the order I want, have added sub titles,
now I want to put these onto DVD but can't!!!!!:cry

I have got disc TDK DVD-R, 1-16xspeed/4.7GB, are these disc's OK???

I go to the 'Produce Slideshow'
1st I tried 'Produce to file' it ages but managed to save it onto desktop, then went to play it, it would only open in Windows Media, and all I got was a green wavy line, no pictures,

then tried to Burn a Disc,
1st window, dot in DVD Output
    next, tick in 'default'
it was the next window I had a problem, every time I put in a blank DVD it told me to 'insert an empty DVD'
    so can't get any further.

I was hoping by putting the photos onto my hard drive I could burn them with my Ashampoo Burning program, from there,

Please help if you can and not to complicated, but am willing to do anything,
