   Today while using AIM or YM i started recieving an ask.com pop-up or two everytime I pressed return to send the IM. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

   Ask.com is while a legitimate site, HOWEVER I have not noticed it popup at each press of enter for a reply in YM, dont personally use AIM, So try the below to rule out malware as the cause.
   
   Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
