    Hello

I i have a hp 590-p0054 and i was hoping someone here knows what this piece of plastic is referenced as so i can buy it

The manufacturer doesn't make it simple to search these parts on their store or manuals because well they dont't have them listed ( probably because model is barely a year old)...

Anyways i was trying to take off the cable and i accidentally ripped off the black piece i pictured
this. The black plastic piece has 8 pins , and is no longer there so only the 8 pins are sticking out

I would like to buy the piece and glue it on to the motherboard

Also this computers power supply had no sata connectors! Instead it had this odd really cable i never seen before which looks like an 8 pin molex connector to sata. I also need this cable but i can't find any info on it online or even find it.. The cable itself connected to the slim dvd drive and an internal hard drive.

black plastic is very out of focus.
Is this something on the motherboard or on the cable in picture 1?

Does this cable have red, blue, green and black wires on 1 side and white and another color (blue or black) on the other side?

i managed to find the part number for the cable

L17725-001 no one has it though.. why in the hell would they use this type of cable ..

Cable has blue, red lime green colors and 2 black ( sata cables running) and a thin one that appears to be 7 pins ( for a dvd drive)

i attached a better picture of the other port
As i mentioned on my first post the black part came off the pins are all exposed
I just need to know what the black plastic piece is called so i can glue one to the motherboard

It looks like an 8-pin 12V power connector.

This site seems to have lots of connectors/plugs

perhaps if you emailed them the picture and mentioned that you just need the black housing, they will offer a suggestion.
