Asterisk Password Spy Don't Work, Fix?

Hi I downloaded this and when I move the spy glass to the asterisk password box it does nothing, what could I be doing wrong? Thanks

Version 9 or 10?
Known limitations:
It does not work with non-windows based applications such as GTK, Flash, QT or applications not using standard edit box for the password.
It does not work with HTML pages in the browsers such as IE, Firefox, Chrome etc
It will not work with the application where password is not actually present. Some times applications do not put password in the password box to hide from these tools.

I see but, I tried it on my gmail account and the show password says it's in there and it is not an http. it still does not show? what does it work with? Thanks

So if the password is not in an HTML page, then it is an email client? Might try some of the Nirsoft tools, MG has the package: here or visit the website https://www.nirsoft.net/password_recovery_tools.html there are several things to try.

gmail, I clicked show password and it appeared - no program needed for this to work. (Note: I erased my name and the first part of my gmail address).
