asus faulty a8n deluxe

was going to get asus a8n deluxe mobo keep hearing problems about faulty chipset fan and memory not running at desired speeds.Is there anything else on the market for sli.want to use 2 1gb sticks of ram and a fx57 64 cpu#

is the above mobo not meant to be the best money can buy

The asus a8n deluxe is the from what I have seen the best sli mobo at the moment,in terms of features and performance,if you look long enough through forums you will never buy a new mobo as they will all appear to have unfixable problems,if the memory issue in question is widespread check asus's support forum to see what asus's take on the situation is,do they acknowledge a problem?,what is the cause?,can it be fixed?,when will it be fixed?

If there is a memory detection prob it will most likely be fixed with a bios update,or may just not be compatible with a certain brand of memory.

 

cheers rikky but according to most people in the asus forums asus are not replying on the problem and many have been trying for months.also 80% of buyers report noisey or defective chipset fan,they do seem like a good manufacturer but i really dont need the hassle since my pc building and problem solving skills are limited
