ASUS PC Probe documentation

I've recently installed an ASUS A7V8X-X mobo, with an AMD Athlon XP 2500+ on it. The software with the board included ASUS PC Probe 2.21.?? but no documentation; I've just upgraded the software to the current version (2.22.04) in the hope of finding some documentation. No luck there. I've not been able to find any elsewhere on the Web and ASUS is no help.

So I'm looking for some suggestions on the following:

• Is there any documentation out there that someone can point me to?

• How can I make the alerts more audible than just a click from the chassis speaker?

Unfortunately, PC Probe 2.x does have a couple of features that aren't described in the v1.0 manual that your link points to. And having seen that manual, I begin to understand why you prefer MBM. I hope MBM is better documented!

Anyway -- if anyone knows where a manual for PC Probe 2.x can be found, I'm still interested.

No apologies necessary. Nobody else has come up with a manual for PC Probe 2.x either! (At least, not yet!)

I'll probably give MBM a try -- especially if somebody can confirm that I don't need the "software cooling" that's included in PC Probe -- whatever "software cooling" is. (see separate thread in this forum)
