    It sounds like you are referring to an Asus board that is actually an Nforce board and more then likely using the NVIDIA Gigabit Ethernet controller.

    So... how can we help you?

    Asus also makes boards by Nvidia and Intel. This is common, name brand companies take a "reference board" like network, motherboard, sound and video, then make tweaks to it, somtimes minor, sometimes overclocked sometimes no changes but their name. Google your board name and you will find that it is a Asus board by Nvidia.
