Atheros Wifi Network Adapter Changing / Commection

Hi Guys. I'm somewhat computer knowledgeable. I need Help or put me in the right direction.

1) I have a Toshiba Satellite L-305 Laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate.
2) Initially,I have been getting drops every 10 minutes on the Wifi connections.
Something went amiss and I inadvertently deleted the Atheros AR5B91 - Network Adapter, thinking The adapter was screwed up. :-o
3) I went to Toshiba for the correct Wifi Network Adapter Connection Driver.
4) I installed it and could not access or see any networks at all. Somehow, the driver changed names after the install from Atheros AR5B91 to AR5091. How does that happen?
5) I Uninstalled the driver again and I went to C-Net and Found the AR5B91, Downloaded it, installed it.. Everything went fine and said the ARB591 Had Installed properly and when I went to see why it wasn't showing any networks, the program reverted to the One I didn't need.
6) To be certain, that this I had the right Wifi Adapter, I took the laptop apart and took down the info and the AR5B91 is the Correct Adapter.
7) It will not detect any networks even though it says it is working. I can use the actual LAN connection and it works. I need the Wifi to get back into working order. Is there a solution for this problem?
