    Here it is:

I recently bought an ATI All in Wonder Radeon 9800 Pro with 128mb memory. But, when I try to use my Xbox or Gamecube with the TV, the graphics look very out-dated, like comparing Half-Life to Halo 2. Here are my system specs:

    Graphics Card: Stated Above
    Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz
    Memory: 512mb
    Sound: Integrated into motherboard
    Motherboard: Asus K8v SE Deluxe
    DirectX Version: 9.0c

I tried e-mail ATI about a month ago and have yet to recieve any sort of response. So a friend of mine told me to come here.

By the way, I have my Xbox hooked up with the S-video.

    Give me a hand!

    Thanks guys!

This is just a guess but I believe the Xbox and Gamecube have a lower native resolution (640X480) so it won't look as sharp when you view it in your monitor when compared to the output on your tv. Unless you view it on a 1:1 ratio in your monitor, the graphics would tend to be pixelated or stretched.

If that doesn't answer your question, can you post a screenshot to give us a better idea on what the problem is?

well, I have another card that is a 9700 with the all in wonder, and, if I remember right, it looked better. I will try to get a screenshot for you right away (meaning as soon as I figure out how lol)

hmmm.. Not sure if this would help...

Have you tried isntalling the latest software for your card from ati.com?

Is it the bluriness that you are talking about? Try playing around with the video settings on the TV software.

Drivers: I believe I have them updated, is there some sort of auto updater though? Because it was very confusing last time I did it.

Settings: What video settings are you talking about?

For drivers: Go to ati.com > download drivers/software.

Choose your OS and select driver > radeon family. And since you have an all in wonder, Multimedia center > All in Wonder Radeon family.

If you've already done that, all i can suggest is to go to http://www.rage3d.com.

It's a community for ATI card users. Since there's more people there with experience on your card, you might be able to get more help from them.

    Good luck!
