ATI TV Wonder 650 compat issues?

    Hi, all! Trying to install an ATI TV Wonder 650 PCI card, and it doesn't seem to like Windows very much. With the card installed, a fresh XP/Pro SP3 installation locks up around ivicd.sys. Also, with the card installed neither the XP/Pro CD nor a Vista Business CD will load; all three freeze at the same point in the boot process. Remove the card, and all is well.

    Board is the TV Wonder 650 PCI. System consists of:
    * Asus A8N32-SLI-Deluxe Rev 1.xx
    * BIOS date 10/27/05
    * Video is an Radeon 9200 Pro

    Thoughts? I'm thinking maybe reflash the BIOS with a newer version?
