I kept getting pop ups from my firewall (Sygate) that port scans were being logged and lsass.exe has been blocked from my system. I was getting no less than a dozen pop ups an hour at times. This week I uninstalled Yahoo messenger and deleted it from my computer. I have not had one pop up regarding lsass or port scans since uninstalling Yahoo messenger, which leads me to believe that someone was trying to hack my computer through Yahoo. Is that a possibility? If I download it again and start using it, what are the chances I'm going to start getting these port scans and lsass.exe warnings again?
