Aww, my boyfriend is getting ollllderrrr..

I've been away from home all this summer..first Texas, then New Jersey. I just got back today from Jersey. I miss my family, but it kind of feels good to be home.

BTW I BEAT THE NEW TOMB RAIDER GAME. quite magnificent since it's the first game I've ever beaten. To be honest I was a little disappointed because it seemed so short. But let me stop now; if I start talking about what I liked/didn't like, I'll be here for forever.

 

Welcome home. TR was a bit short, but very enjoyable, with a solid storyline, and a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Will Laura get her Mom back in the next game??? Stay tuned.

I beat every game I play on the hardest setting, each one becomes my mission I cant play any others until its done and once done I never play them again, apart from the multiplayer part,I also never play the multiplayer until I'v finished the main game as it spoils finding new weapons

I have most games done within a month,Oblivion being the exception I havnt even started the main quest yet and only finished the theives guild quest,theres just so much to do and I love it

I haven't played it myself...yet! It won't run on my computer, my old trusted cpu is getting too old and trusted... Lmao! But I'll get around to it, one day! I've only played the first games in the TR series, loved them though. And I've played quite a few of the custom levels that people make, and they can be even more fun than the original games! Let me know if you want any hints on good custom levels, they are free to download from online!

Rikky: I can't imagine myself finishing a game in less than a month, TR:Legend being an exception. I always haaate the bosses, and sometimes I get so frustrated with them that I stop playing the game for several months. I'm like that with Kingdom Hearts right now. I really want the second one but my OCD keeps me from buying it since I haven't completed the first one, hehehe.

Solange: Do you have a console? I downloaded the demo for TR:Legend a little while ago on my computer and it was nearly impossible to play. Slowwww...

I've never played a custom level before. Sounds neat. I'll try that later.

Sorry for the delay, I've been away for a little over a week, without puter access...

I play on PC, I just can't manage the controls for consoles... Lol. I can imagine though, that Legend will require a quite fast machine to run smoothly and fast, it won't run at all on my comp... But the older games run well on it.

If you want to play custom games, you need the Tombraider Level Editor. It is free to download, but a tad large, so if you are on dialup it is a pain. You can find it on this page: Chronicles. It is the one called "Download TRLE". If you are on Window XP I strongly recommend the xp patch as well, as it will make the game load very fast, and without it, it takes for bloody ever to load the game...

The levels are usually quite easy to install. You need a fresh copy of the Editor to install them on though. What I do is I keep the zip file for the editor and just extract a new copy whenever I want to install a new level! Most levels come with a helpful readme file with install instructions as well. Or if you are curious, take a look at this page on FreeRaiders, where the most important info can be found.

The editor and the custom levels is based on the Revelations game engine, and will be a little similar to that if you've ever played it on PC. (not much different from TR 1-5 ) TR was the first game I started playing on a more regular basis, and when I was new to pc games, I still found the controles very easy to master. Even if you are a console gamer, I promise you'll master the controles in no time!

Yes.....Tomb Raider: the legend kick butt. Developers did an outstanding job modifying New Lara Croft and I still loving it in every way!!
