I have Win7. 64 Bit and Audacity and use Media Player Clasic

I have a DVD I want to Record just a Sount Byte from.

So I Play my DVD and Stop it at the Point I want to Record the Audio.

I Check my Audacity Record Volume is Up as High as it goes.
I Check my Media Player Clasic Volume is as High as it goes.

And I Record it and then Stop Audacity.

But it Records it very very Low.

I am looking for Win7. Volume Sliders but did not Find them.

Try amplifying the sound in Audacity? Effect > Amplify

    I can do that.

But I just wanted to know if my Windows Volume Sliders are ok?

I did know how to get into them before but I forgot.

Right-click the speaker icon in the notification area. Click the Recording tab and set the volume of Stereo Mix.
