audio and video

After installing a new video card have lost sound. This pc had an on board video card.:confused any help would be great thanks.

Attached is audio and video file Speccy. Had to do this via remote assistance thread poster and computer at different 10-20`s. Hope some will still be able to assist on this issue.:cool

Before running any of the steps below can you please tell us the make and model of your machine.... this will help in disabling the on board graphics.

Please remove the Nvid card from your system and run driver sweeper...

create a restorepoint before running!!
IN SAFE MODE... select the Nvid video/sound drivers > analyze > Clean (run the clean option twice as to clean up any residual left overs.Shut down.

Re-sit your card and re-boot,click out of the found newhardware windows, if you were given an install driver disc when you purchased it this is the time to now run it....if you don't have the disc you can get the chipset/drivers from here....
