Audio Card

    Hey guys and gals ..here is my problem.....my computer stops playing sounds from websites but i still have sound as i used the sound recorder to check to see if my sound card went bad ....any suggestions as how to fix the problem?
    Did i give you to little info?
    By the way thanks before hand ....this site has been a great help to me ..

    1. OS
    2. browser and version
    3. do the sounds play then stop or do they never start
    4. address of one such site so i can see what sort of sound files you are trying to hear

    1. My O.S. is X.P. Service Pack 3
    2.FireFox is my browser
    3.They start but then they just stop
    4.You Tube is an example ...

    address of one YouTube that started, stopped and then never started again.
    I want to see what the buffering is like.
    What kind of internet access are you on and about what is the download speed (advertised, not actual because I know you might not be getting the advertised).
