Hi, I have 8 songs which has different codecs like " mp3" and WAV ..etc

I would like to put them on a cd, but the problem is that my cd player doesn't recognize the files and automatically changes to the next cd.

to which "typ of file" should I change them? I really dont know what to do... and with which software?

    thanks in advance :)

The question is what software are you using to burn your music cds?

Because software like Nero can automatically convert your file for you.

But generally the files have to be a .wav

If your looking for a program to convert you can use Matchbox Jukebox

They need to be burned in the Audio CD format. If you want something simple that will just burn Audio CDs for you try Burrrn: http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4 If you would like something that does a little more, like rip CDs to your hard drive and burn data discs, try CD Burner XP (It works on all Windows OS despite the name): http://www.majorgeeks.com/CDBurnerXP_d4242.html
