audio delay

I have the problem opposite of almost everyone else has, but I'll get to that in a sec.

My setup is my PC is hooked up to my Samsung LED HDTV through a DVI to HDMI cable. SPDIF is hooked into the graphics card of my PC, allowing it to transmit audio over HDMI. The HDTV sends the audio signal to the surround sound system through optical.

My problem is that the audio is slightly behind the video. It doesn't seem to affect anything except for playing BlueRay movies using Corel's BlueRay playing software. The optical drive is a LiteOn. I haven't noticed an audio delay playing games on the PC on the HDTV, but it may be that I just haven't noticed it. With movies, it is noticeable especially when people are talking or when they slam something down on a table, etc.

My PS3 is hooked into the HDTV through HDMI and has no problem with audio.

My best guess is that Windows 7 64-bit or Corel movie player is sending the audio in a way that causes some conversion to have to happen when it arrives at the HDTV or surround sound system. Any ideas?
